The trek from Lachen - Green Lake - Dzongu is a combination of adventure and culture. The trek starts from Lachen the village inhabited by the Bhutan's of Sikkim and terminates at the village Lingzia in Dzongu area, the homeland of the Lepchas the indigenous people of Sikkim. This trek offers rear opportunity to visit the famous Tolong Gompa an important and the most inaccessible monastery in Sikkim.

This trekking route is mainly meant for adventure as well as understanding of Bhutia and Lepcha culture, it leads you to Lepchas’ hidden place –Dzongu, still forbidden for the outside world due to its uniqueness, crossing through Kishongla – 4,785 m, Kishongda, Famous Tolung Monastery is amidst forests and beautiful places along with many high altitude medicinal plants. There is also a sacred lake for seeking fulfillment of your personal unfulfilled wish. Trekking duration depends upon each guest from 4-6 hrs. a day and night rest at Jakthang, Yabuk, Rest Camp, Kishongda-4,228 m, Tolung – 3,002 m, Tolung Monastery – 2,487 m, Linzia / Tingvong village – 1,085 m.
