The jeep safari is designed to give a sense of adventure in driving on the roads of the region. Only 4 wheeled drive vehicles are utilised. The safari usually starts from Darjeeling with an excursion to Sandakphu (3636m), entering Sikkim through Naya Bazar and drive to Pelling via Rinchenpong. Drive to Yuksam with excursion to Khecheopalri Lake. Drive to Gangtok with stoppage at Rabangla and Martam. From Gangtok excursion is made to Lachung, Yumthang, Lachen and Thangu. The stage of the safari includes drive to Kalimpong via Monsong.
