professional fishing or angling is yet to be introduced in major scale in Sikkim.
The two major rivers, Teesta and Rangit and some of its tributaries and an alpine
lake in East Sikkim offer some excellent spots. The game fish available are
Trout (Season: January-May/June-September)
Masher (Season: May-September)
Katley (Season: November-April)
The
fishing trips are organised with full support staff and camping equipment.
