Sikkim is home to 600 varieties of Orchids species which are found in sub tropical region. The International Orchid Shows are now held at Gangtok and Namchi during the month of March. Moreover there are private nurseries for hybrid orchids at Gangtok, Namchi, Kalimpong and Mirik. The tour is specially designed to give more information on the orchids of the region.
