BHUTAN TARIFF & ENTITLEMENTS
All foreign national tourists visiting Bhutan must travel
through all-inclusive package tours, for which there is a
fixed tariff set by the Royal Government, This tariff includes
the services of accommodation& meals, transport and guide,
sightseeing and entrance fees. TARIFF
International Tourist tariff is set by the Royal Government of
Bhutan and is valid for all-inclusive package.
The minimum tariff for tourists visiting in a group of three
people or more is as follows:
High season: US $ 180 per person per night (March, April, May,
September, October and November).
Low season: US $ 165 per person per night (January, February,
June, July, August and December). SURCHARGE
Individual tourists and group size of less then 3 person shall
be subject to surcharge, in addition to the minimum daily
tariff as follows:
Single individual: US $ 40 per night
Group of two persons: US $ 30 per person per night
The minimum daily tariff is inclusive of royalty,
accommodation on twin searing basis, all meals, side seeing,
guide services transportation within the country and entrance
fees for the museum and monuments.
While on trek the cost covers tented accommodation, ponies,
yaks, trekking guides, cook and meals.
DISCOUNTS ON TOURIST TARIFF
The following are subject to approval from the Department of
Tourism..
• Diplomats from foreign embassies/ Missions accredited to
Bhutan are given 25 % discount on the minimum daily tariff.
• Children below 5 years is free, those between 6-12 years get
50% off on daily tariff.
• Full time students below the age of 25 years are given 25%
discount on the daily tariff (evidence required)
• 50% discount on a daily tariff is given to one person in a
group of 11-15 persons. A 100% discount is given to one member
in a group exceeding 16 persons. CANCELLATION CHARGES
Trips booked and subsequently cancelled are subject to
cancellation charges as follows:
• 30 days prior to commencement of tour: no cancellation
charge.
• Within 21 days: 10% of the trip cost.
• Within 7 days: 30% of the trip cost.
• Less then 7 days or without notice: 50% of the trip cost.
• After arrival in Bhutan: 100% of the trip cost.
BHUTAN TOUR PAYMENT
All Tour Payments must be settled one month in advance of
commencement of Tour to clear the Visa and other necessary
documents. The Tour booking will be confirmed only after we
receive 100% of the Tour payment.
